Welcome to Yogatree
We are Lydia Holmes and Edgar Stringer, a married couple living and working in North Wiltshire. We have been practicing Iyengar Yoga since 1991 and teaching since 1997. We are both qualified Level 3 Senior teachers, mentors and assessors for IYUK and continue to train under the guidance of pupils of BKS Iyengar.
We named our studio Yogatree in dedication to our teacher BKS Iyengar. Inspired by his book The Tree of Yoga which uses the analogy of a tree to explain the eight limbs Yoga Philosophy of Patanjali.

Yogatree Studio
We taught Iyengar yoga classes in village halls and art centres for twenty years prior to fulfilling our dream of our own studio. In 2017 we bought a 1930’s former telephone exchange in Corsham and Edgar worked tirelessly to renovate the building. Yogatree studio opened in September 2020.
Since the start of the Covid pandemic we have been teaching online classes for those unable to attend live classes.
Our Classes
We offer yoga courses for beginners, improvers, intermediate and teacher's levels. We also teach specialist classes including pregnancy yoga, 1-1 private sessions and yoga therapy.
Drop in classes are only available on Saturday 9am on Sunday 10am for £12.
For drop-in pay by cash or card at the studio.
